Thank you so much for all of your help raising money for the storm victims! Our school raised a total of $1018. I am very proud of how giving my class was - we collected $185 in just our class!!! :) Thanks so much.
Reminders:
- This Friday is Field Day, wear your t-shirt if you ordered one. We still need parents/grandparents to help with this. Please let me know if you are available.
- Our Field Trip has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, May 18. Please sign and return the new permission slip TOMORROW. We must have this for your child to attend.
- Awards Day for 3rd Grade will be on May 24 at 10:00 in the gym.
- We will not have to make up the day we missed due to the recent bad weather, so the last day of school for students will still be on May 27! :)

About Me
- Jennifer Wright
- This is my seventh year teaching here at Mitchell, and I absolutely love it! I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, and now 3rd grade. I am a former Mitchell student and love being back here teaching. I have a BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!!!), and a MS in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University. My husband, Clay, is also a teacher and coach at Sardis High School. We have one child, Cooper, who is 2 and are expecting a second child in January 2014. I have one dog, a Bichon Frise, named Molly.
