This is my seventh year teaching here at Mitchell, and I absolutely love it! I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, and now 3rd grade. I am a former Mitchell student and love being back here teaching. I have a BS in Business Administration from the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!!!), and a MS in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University. My husband, Clay, is also a teacher and coach at Sardis High School. We have one child, Cooper, who is 2 and are expecting a second child in January 2014. I have one dog, a Bichon Frise, named Molly.
We had a great field trip today! Our class started the day with bowling, then went to Chick-fil-A for lunch, and finished the day with a visit to Judge Olgetree's Courtroom. It was a great day...well, other than one of the other 3rd grade teachers being arrested! :-) Allen from our class was chosen to be the judge, and he sent her straight to jail! Here are some pictures from our day.
